Some family was down from Seattle for the week and I was able to hang out with them for a few hours at the beach.
I almost managed to get all seven looking even with Gavin on his rock right behind them, but baby Katie had other plans.
Katie was such a blast to take photos of, I would only ever get a split second of eye contact from her before she looked away so I had to be quick.
She stayed quite busy in the sand with anything that she could get her hands on: keys, wallets, shoes and even sunscreen.
Best part of the day was talking about Zander's shirt. His "old man" shirt. When I asked him if he had picked up the shirt from a thrift shop his response was, "No. I got it from one of my friends......but they got it from a thrift shop."
This guy Gavin was climbing everything in sight and it was freaking me out! He would climb up and then run down uneven rocks, my ankles hurt just watching him.
Shelby didn't really let me get photos of her while she was looking at me, but I managed to sneak in a photo of her playing in the sand and then she let me let me get one of her on a bench looking out at the beach and ocean.
Austin seemed to enjoy having his photo taken more than any of his other siblings. He had no problem with me taking candids of him, and if I asked him to look my way he would with a smile on his face.
Being from Seattle, I'm sure Katie appreciated being on a Central Coast California beach :)
She spent a good amount of time almost waist high in the water and she loved it!!
